Action with Communities in Rural Kent to host workshop for the European Rural Parliament

ACRE member, Action with Communities in Rural Kent, will host a workshop at Stalisfield Village Hall, Faversham, Kent on 21st March 2019. Th event comes as part of the Rural Opinion Advocacy and Development (ROAD) project which is funded through the European Rural Parliament (ERP).

A series of workshops have already been held in Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.

The European Rural Parliament (ERP) aims to express the voice of rural people across Europe; and promote self-help and action by rural people, in partnership with civil society and governments.

Delegates attending the workshop can expect to hear about local and European rural projects and how the learning can be used with projects in their communities. There will be opportunities to share experiences and to hear more about the work of the European Rural Parliament and learn more about the ERP gathering in Asturias, Spain later this year.
