Defra and MPs will meet communities awarded funds from the Village Hall Improvement Grant Fund

Action with Communities in Rural England (ACRE) runs the annual campaign Village Halls Week which celebrates the community spaces at the heart of rural communities. This year promises to be extra special as the week kick starts in the House of Commons.

ACRE welcomed 80 attendees to our Annual General Meeting on 27 November 2018

We were pleased to invite to the stage the thoughts of Tim Goodship Head of Rural Policy at Defra, Claire Saunders Director of the Princes Countryside Fund and Professor Mark Shucksmith OBE of Newcastle University.
