Statement in support of the civilians affected by the current crisis in Ukraine

Professor Mark Shucksmith OBE, ACRE Trustee said, “Like many people across the world, we are deeply shocked and saddened by the unfolding events in Ukraine. As a national partner to the European Rural Parliament, we would like to add our voice to the rural civil society movement across Europe in expressing solidarity with all those affected.  We stand shoulder to shoulder with Ukraine’s rural movement and call upon all parties involved in the conflict to respect international law and make every effort to restore peace”
