Village Halls Week 2027

Village Halls Week is set to return next year, and colleagues are now being advised to mark the dates in their calendars.

The annual celebration of all things village halls will begin with a launch event on Friday 12 March.

Village halls will then be encouraged to get involved in the festivities and plan events and activities throughout the week, ahead of the final day on Friday 19 March.

As in previous years, the week-long event will be given a theme – to be announced shortly – that links to the role village halls play in everyday rural life.

Keep an eye on future editions of Exchange for the big reveal, as well as details of when physical campaign packs, including bunting, will be available to order.

Village Halls Week 2026 focused on health and wellbeing, and saw communities from all corners of the country get into the spirit with a host of diverse events, such as balloon volleyball in Lancashire, CPR training in North Yorkshire and chocolate bingo in Derbyshire.
