Response to a proposed rural transport strategy
People living in rural areas face various challenges when it comes to mobility and access to services, compounded by the absence of any clear, national policy in relation to rural transport.
In our response to a call for evidence from the Department of Transport on a future strategy for rural transport, ACRE we make some recommendations for policy commitments and interventions that we think would work, including the provision of gigabit capable broadband.
