VAT relief on Energy Saving Materials (ESMs) & Village Halls
We want to hear from management committees of village halls in relation to a government call for evidence about VAT relief on Energy Saving Materials (ESMs).
ACRE will be making a formal response to government arguing for VAT relief on ESMs to be reinstated in buildings used solely for a relevant charitable purpose.
Village halls are encouraged to complete a short survey form by Monday 22 May to furnish us with information to inform our response. We are also encouraging management committees of these buildings to respond to the call for evidence directly, should they wish.
