Crowdfunder in place for vandalised village hall

In the previous edition of Exchange, members were told how a community’s beloved village hall was mindlessly vandalised midway through an extensive restoration.

Now, an online crowdfunder has been set up to help the team at East Boldre Village Hall to get back on track and finish the project on time.

Vandals forced their way in to the Hampshire village hall on the evening of Wednesday 15 April and caused significant damage to cables, wiring and water pipes, before ultimately leaving the building to flood.

The East Boldre community now hopes the online crowdfunder will help to raise the remaining £25,000 needed to finally get them over the line.
