Job Title: Chief Executive

Location: Woodstock, Oxfordshire (at least 1 day per week) with travel to London and member networks (around 1 day per week)

Contract type: Permanent, Full time (35 hours per week, but with some flexibility as to when/how the hours are worked)

Salary: c£65-75k, negotiable depending on experience

ACRE’s work champions vibrant, sustainable and inclusive rural communities by finding innovative solutions to their unique challenges.

We are looking for a new Chief Executive to shape ACRE’s future strategy, building on recent achievements that have seen the ACRE Network have a real and positive impact on rural communities, especially those who are most disadvantaged by living in rural areas.

Our ideal candidate would have senior level experience in national policy and/or with a network of autonomous organisations.

Equally at home working closely with government and with our 38 member organisations across England, you will be a strategic leader with impeccable communication and influencing abilities and a track record of building strong relationships and leading and influencing change.
