Urgent energy advice for village halls this winter
The current energy crisis is having a profound impact on many individuals and organisations in society including England’s 10,000+ village halls. To help rural community buildings stay open this winter, ACRE and Utility Aid have prepared some urgent advice to help the volunteers who manage these buildings save energy and stay on top of energy bills.
Our advice urges village halls to make sure they are in contract with their energy supplier. It also provides some practical pointers for saving energy and identifying where improvements can be made to buildings.
